Josh Hartnett graced the cover of Premiere magazine's February 2002 issue alongside Ewan McGregor, promoting their roles in Black Hawk Down. The shoot took place in a dusty industrial warehouse in downtown Los Angeles, chosen to evoke the raw, gritty feel of an urban battlefield.

While scouting the location, I stumbled upon an abandoned communal bathroom bathed in perfect sunlight streaming through a worn window. The golden rays created an atmosphere that felt both cinematic and intimate. I positioned Josh in just the right spot to elevate the composition, letting the interplay of light and shadow add depth to the image.

The photo was captured on Kodak Tri-X 400 film with my Mamiya RZ67 and its creamy 110mm lens, bringing a timeless texture and richness to this iconic portrait.
