Cedric the Entertainer, one of Hollywood's most beloved comedians, brought his infectious joy and spirit to this unforgettable session. I wanted to capture his vibrant energy, so I asked him to sing. I can’t recall the song, but he closed his eyes and sang with so much soul that my entire crew and I were captivated.

Using a large format 4x5 camera and Polaroid Type 55 film, I focused on capturing the raw emotion of the moment. With only one chance to get it right, I let instinct guide me, fully immersed in the energy of the room. That day, the music was in the air, and the vibes were undeniably good. This image embodies that magical moment.
